LifeLine Medical Transport
Excellence Over Seven Decades
Locally owned and operated, LifeLine Medical Transport serves all of Ventura County with the utmost in quality medical transportation and innovation with a real commitment to ensuring continuous service improvements.
As "first-to-respond" to emergencies, LifeLine is staffed by highly trained paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Answering calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, LifeLine's team provides the community with pre-hospital emergency care including basic and advanced life support as well as non-emergency medical transportation.
A Family's Legacy Continues
Originally named Ojai Ambulance, the company was founded by Ojai's pioneer Clausen family in 1935. As the only ambulance service in Ojai, the company served a vital community need for over 55 years.
Since 1991 and still today, Steve Frank continues the tradition of local ownership and management. Raised in the Ojai Valley, Steve began his career in 1979 as an EMT in the "Ojai" and continued in 1981 as a paramedic, serving as operations manager. Today as owner, he is committed to serving the community he calls home.
To ensure continuity of service, the company expanded its non-emergency services to the City of Ventura and parts of the Santa Clara Valley, which prompted a new name for the company, as LifeLine Medical Transport (LMT).
